Ohio's Newest Child Passenger Safety Law

Parents,
Effective on October 7th, 2009 Children younger than 8, unless they are 4 feet 9 inches tall, must use a booster seat. This new law in combination with the existing law requiring children younger than 4 years and less than 40 pounds must use a child safety seat; and children 8 to 15 to use a safety seat or a seat belt will make traveling safer for your children.
Law enforcement will issue warnings beginning October 7th, 2009,and full enforcement will begin April 7, 2010. Fines will range from $25 to $75 per violation.
There are a limited number of Ohio Buckles Buckeyes High Back boosters with no harness available for children who are 30 to 100 pounds and is at least 37 to 54 inches tall, Here at Help Me Grow. Watch here for dates and times of the distribution of these seats. You must attend a 1 hour training to receive one. Lets keep our children safe.
